 What is the cost to become a Private Quarters Independent Comfort Consultant?
Your starter kit costs $199.99 plus shipping and tax. The kit has a value of over $700 and
includes all the samples and supplies you need to get started.
How much time will I need to devote to PQ?
It is entirely up to you. One benefit of becoming a PQ Comfort Consultant is that you
choose how much time to invest. You can work part time or full time, whichever suits your
personal goals.
How much profit do I earn, and when?
You receive 20% immediate profit on all your guest retail sales. After collecting payments
from your guests and Hostes, including sales tax and shipping and handling, you
simply keep 20% of the guest retail sales as instant profit and then send Private Quarters
a payment for the remaining amount. Our online Consultant Workstation makes it easy to
calculate payments and profit, and submit customer orders.
How can I receive additional income?
You can receive additional income by achieving sales and sponsoring minimums as
outlined in the PQ Career Plan. With our generous plan, you can receive up to 40% on
your personal retail sales and up to 11% on the retail sales of your recruits. Bonus
payments are paid monthly by the Company. For complete details, see the Private

Do I get a discount on the purchase of samples and items for personal use?
Yes. As an active PQ Comfort Consultant you can purchase one of each item in our line
each year at 40% off the retail price.
Do I need special expertise to sell Private Quarters products?
No. Our catalog tells the story. The PQ Getaway Party is simple and fun, so you don’t
need to memorize any fancy presentation or have lots of technical knowledge about the
products.
Will I receive training?
Yes. Your sponsor will work with you closely to ensure that you receive the training that
you need to begin successfully. In addition, Private Quarters features an on-demand
online training program for new Consultants, a Training DVD, and Success Start
Handbook in your starter kit that will guide you through your first 100 days.
How soon should I schedule my first party?
We highly recommend that you set a date for your first party (your business launch) at the
time you sign your Independent Consultant Agreement. We suggest that your first party
date be scheduled within 15 days of having received your starter kit.
Do I have to keep an inventory of products and deliver them to customers?
No. You don't have to purchase or stock inventory. The company stocks all the products
and ships your orders directly to your Host, who distributes the products to her guests.
All you do is place your orders online, along with payment, and the company handles the
rest.
Can I accept credit cards from my customers?
Yes. And unlike some other companies, Private Quarters provides the service for you. You
don't have to become a merchant or pay any processing fees. PQ accepts MasterCard,
Visa, and Discover.

Yes. All PQ products are guaranteed free of defects in material and workmanship. See the

Can I earn a free trip with Private Quarters?
Yes. Each spring season, Private Quarters offers an exciting trip to a luxurious resort that
Consultants can earn. In addition, for those who choose leadership, a Leadership retreat
is offered in January.
