DSA Back to Basics Seminar in Washington DC.

Washington, D.C. – Jeff Stroud, President of Private Quarters addressed over 100
executives representing 74 Direct Sales Companies at the Direct Selling Association’s
Back to Basics Seminar in Washington DC last week.
The presentation, which focused on highlights of Private Quarter’s successful launch and
national expansion over the past two years, was very well received by industry executives
attending the event.
Kim Grimm, Education Program Planner for the DSA commented, “Jeff’s contribution with
his presentation as well as in the Q&A portion was invaluable to the audience at the
Seminar. Because of Jeff’s experience in the development and success of Private
Quarters, he provided many of the newer companies at the Seminar with the insight and
inspiration they would not have gained anywhere else. Jeff gave them a framework to
accomplish the goals that Private Quarters has already achieved.”
In his presentation, Jeff told about his transition as an executive in brick-and-mortar retail
to direct sales. He highlighted the lessons he has learned over the past two years and
focused on how Private Quarters has emerged from a large field of fledgling start-up
companies to become poised for major nationwide expansion. “When we started, our
education about direct sales from the DSA was critical to our success. I am so pleased
that I have had the opportunity to give back to the industry by sharing what we have
learned.” said Jeff
Jeff’s presentation also included video footage of testimonials from some of PQ’s top field
leaders.
“I believe that hearing straight from our leaders gives Private Quarters great credibility.”
Jeff commented. “In the end, it is our leaders in the field who have made PQ the success
that it is today.”
